Please Help

Hi all,

I am currently a web designer but not long out of university i am stuck in a terrbile job thats going knowhere.

I am constantly looking to get a new role, however all graphic/web design roles i am applying for are asking for experience with a mac.

I have a dell pc, at old one at that and cannot simply afford an apple. I have looked at trying to save for a really old g4 but been told its best to try and get a new one. I simply cannot afford this which is why i signed up to freebiejeebies thinking it could be possible.

If there is anyone out there who would be willing to help and to try and get traffic to my page and help me achieve some sign ups it would be amazing to me.

Nearly everyone on here is trying to get sign ups just like you. It would be more beneficial for you to read around the forums and get some ideas of how you can promote this to your family, friends and others.

Edit: Also if you want to link to your freebie site from exceem you need to put a link back to here

With all due respect you should be greatful that you have a job!!!

With regards to the job you want. If they want someone with mac experiance (which you don't have) then lie. Make up a load of stuff you did at uni on macs.

Also, if I was to be driving traffic to a site it would be mine (no offense).

Also the bottom of your website is a bit scewiff.

I've seen your site on some design galleries - it's really nice. As for jobs requiring Mac experience, I don't know where you're applying to but that seems to be a ridiculous requirement. It's probably a lot easier to design for the web on a PC. If it's that important then do as tronsmith suggests and just lie! Just say that everything was made on a mac!!
