Intuit - Card not registering

One of my referrals emailed me saying that they are trying to complete the Intuit offer but it is not accepting their card properly. I've read about this a few times, so is there a chance they can be nudged to get it sorted?

My referral should be opening a support ticket soon to try and sort it out.

There's no point opening a support ticket, they only accept the payment methods they accept. I asked them about it but they have no plans to change.

Yeah... Lot's of my friends have the same problem, they use visa electron credit cards but the intuit website doesn't accepts their card... Even tough one of my friend used his card to buy a game on steam and it worked...

so it's a little bit strange for me...
