what happens if the price goes down on amazon purchases?

Ok so i know when you order an item from amazon if the item decreases in price in the next 30 days after purchase the difference can be re-claimed. So what happens if i order something via a freebie site from amazon and the price decreases after a couple days after it has been ordered. Is the freebie site able to claim that cash back and give it back to the customer?

The freebie site would be able to get the difference in price back. But it would be entirely up to them if they passed that on to you, in the form of cash or greens or whatever.

I suppose that its kinda asking a bit much for them to give you the difference back anyway. You might aswell leave freebiejeebies keep it.

That's brilliant! I didn't know Amazon had that policy.

As way I see it, ultimately you're getting your gift from the freebie site, not Amazon. And your order had been finalised with both your and the freebie networks' agreement, hence, it being shipped to you. Most networks say that a green is worth up to £20 (or whatever) for custom orders so you won't get the whole £20.

We place far too many orders with Amazon to be checking for price reductions so we wouldn't claim anything back retrospectively.

If an item reduces in price permanently, we will reduce the referrals required accordingly.

If you custom order an item and the price reduces before your account is verified, we can give you a new referral quote based on the new reduced price.
