What's the worst they could do to you?

I'm very afraid that I'm going to lose something or gain spam through freebiejeebies. I mean if I don't do an offer (exchange 3 referrals for offer credit), and I just give them my address for the shipping, can they really do anything bad against me? I heard that when you give them your address, they send you a lot of spam mail. Is this true?

Not true at all - we never send any spam (i'm sure others on here will confirm) and we strictly adhere to our privacy policy and are registered under the data protection act

I think most people do,

Freebie sites seem to have a reputation for spamming people, don't really know why. Some may have done it a lot before I started

i think you are perfectly safe from spam... the worse that could happen is you might get a newsletter... but we will all be long dead by then!

Freebie Jeebies would never send you any spam or junk mail. In fact I've never heard of a freebie site doing that, but especially FJ.

They don't need to because they make their money legitimately.

That said, the reason why you may have heard that is because a lot of people like to talk about things as if they know about them when they don't. It makes them sound smart. So people who dismiss freebie sites altogether as being a scam, think that they know what they're talking about and tell people when it comes up in conversation to "stay away from sties like that, if something sounds to good to be true it always is, and these sites will just spam you loads and its not worth it", despite them having never actually checked it out for themselves.

I hate people who do that, i'd never try to pass my opinions off as facts.
