just having a look on the apple store, I like the new 'voice over' thing where it tells you what track you're listening to

Its sort of cool like all new ipods/macs just because apple have sucked us all into their simple=cool concept! Voice over is certainly a good idea, combined with increased storage. But not having any buttons on the actual unit itself seems a bit strange, and your wont be suitable for people like me who break earphones easily in various random ways (sure replacements will be as much as the shuffle itself)!

Thanks for telling us. Yeah i thought that was stupid, no buttons on the front! I thought it was fake at first.

How much memory does this one come with? Any idea of ref rates?

EDIT: Just read, 4GB

4GB I believe.

I'm sure apple realizes why some people won't like it, however, it is much more convenient. Most people who use shuffle are people who work out, or do something where something big will get in the way. It's nice to just clip the shuffle wherever and just use the headphones to control it.

It costs approx 57 - 58 quid, so it should be 3 refs!

If anyone wants to see the new shuffle in 3D, go to Apple - iPod shuffle - The first mp3 player that talks to you and click 'View 360°' at the left-bottom corner of the main picture

That looks like something you'd get from dodgy Chinese electronics websites. The front should have at least had a logo, it looks cheap and generic, and plain ugly imo. Too plain making it too ugly.

It should have had those hidden OLED screens, like on sony walkmans, instead of the silly voice over thing.

Yea i saw it on the tech website Engadget- had a cool video as well, specs are 4gb hard drive, new voice over feature, you can check out the pics at engadget.

It also has a new touch sensitive button near the headphones as well which is pretty cool, different voices for mac and pc users though.

guys, if the one headphones bother you, apple is letting you get the regular shuffle. This was created for people who are alright using apple headphones. They are great headphones.

No they're not! They have no bass at all and don't produce as loud a sound as other earphones. Bad move by apple for sure.

SelfSilent has a spectacular aura about
Rumour has it that Steve Jobs has a phobia of buttons so when possible, buttons are removed or hidden. Look at the iMac, Mac mighty mouse, iPods, iPhone etc.
