Friend has signed up twice, does this affect me?

Hey guys,

My cousin got his friend to sign up to my fj account but he appears to have signed up twice.
The first time it looks like he used a proxy, I think this is because he's at uni and as my cousin signed up at uni he didn't want to have the same ip. When I told him not to use a proxy (I didn't know he'd already done it) because it wouldn't help me (as I'm sure theres a rule about that), he then signed up again without the proxy.

Will this affect my account or will he just get put on hold for having two? I'll be really annoyed if it affects mine, I'd rather he hadn't even tried to sign up.

Thanks for the quick reply. It wasn't from my pc, I live off campus but my cousin and his friend live on campus and so might have the same ip (so i've been told) even though they live in different houses.

At least my account is ok, I've basically only lost the possibility of him becoming one of my greens.

Thanks again, Lyssa

if it was a genuine mistake - you could get your cousin to send a support ticket to freebiejeebies to get one of the accounts deleted

im sure that they will co-operate positavely

I've told my cousin and he said he'd speak to him about sending a support ticket. If he does have the same ip as my cousin do I just get the one green or none? As my cousin went green a few weeks ago and Id rather not lose it.

if its on a uni campus i think that was ok - you'd have to contact richard and alex about that

the best thing to do would be to send a support ticket explaining your situation

i cant answer on behalf of them
