i chose to complete the love film offer, i rented one dvd and have just sent t back, will the offer be completed when they recieve it or when i finish my 14 day trial.
also, can i cancel my subscription with love film as soon as the offer is completed or do i have to continue paying monthly?

You are not allowed to talk about cancelling the offer. If you do not want to continue the subscription beyond the trial you will need to call them to cancel. The offer will credit within 28 days of completion.

Is it not also part of the TC that you need ot have 10 DVDs in your list for the trial to count?

Not that I remember. They advise to put the 10 DVD's in the list so that they can get you at least one of your selection to you in the 14 day trial.

I know about the irony but didn't know how to put it without using the word cancel

try "when the trial is up, you are free to do with the account what you wish, if you liked the trial, keep it, if not, that's up to you."

I used similar wording on my site but I think I will change it to exactly that aswell.

On the lovefilm sign-up page it states 'Cancel at any time during your free trial and you will not be charged'

You will not get charged but you must still recieve at least 1 dvd for the offer to fully complete as far as the freebie scene sees it
