New feature now on all FJ Sites

with the exception of sports, select and points It will be coming to sports but for some reason doesnt want to change at the moment.

Some of you may have seen this earlier from my post in the other thread but for those that haven't.

You can now tailor FJ so you can promote it your way. On the refer friends page is a new section so you can choose which gift is displayed when they follow your referral link.

To give an example:
You are advertising a free nintendo Wii but when they follow your consoles referral link the first gift that pops up is the xbox live subscription, and this might put a few off - well now you can choose the Wii as the default gift and that is what they will see.

This should enable you to target your advertising better and hopefully increase your signups.

Not that I'm ungrateful but would it be possible to add sign up date to the list of referrals.

lol i mentioned that earlier aswell...rich says they will look into it

on a side not: the new feature doesnt seem to work well with mine:S i dnt quite understand how it would work aswell, cos the referal link remains unchanged

actually it does work, bt you can only have one default right? i thought you could change it for each one and apply a diffrent link to each of the images on your website lolz

Would it be possible to upgrade this so that you can choose a different gift depending on where your referrals come from? For example, I refer to Consoles for PS3, Xbox and Wii - it would be nice to be able to have these gifts showing when people click the relevant links.

Just a thought, although I don't know much about coding so I don't know how easy it is.

I was thinking that as well but i would think it would be a hell of a lot more coding and you would probally have to have a differnt link for each gift. as much as it would be nice it could als be very confusing i think. i could be wrong like i normally am lol

yeh i agree for example if you advertise a free nintendo wii with one link that comes up and the wii on the site and same with xbox and stuff

and the mass mailer it a great idea too
it almost makes people message back when you e-mail them, if you can send it 3 times a day
