Its a nice feature, however.

I have various on target sites that all point to gifts.fj, for example a wii site and a seperate ipod site.

It would be good if we could control which gifts is displayed by default with a url variable. for example, http://gifts.freebiejeebies.co.uk/xxxx?iphone16gb

That way, I could put the different urls on the different sites and further target my traffic

You can only choose one at the moment. What we are saying is that if you are giving details on different products, (eg. ipod shuffle, ipod touch, macbook air) you have http://apple.freebiejeebies.co.uk/xxxx?item=blah

I understand in theory it is possible, the problem I have is that if we amend the ref links like that then one person might say ?item=NintendoWii the other might say Wii the other might say Nintendo Wii

There are a lot of variables, we do already have the items coded by ID however so i guess if we added to the refer friends page the id numbers then people could use that

it was before we implemented the dropdown so people could enter whatever they wanted from now on it will all be UK or USA/Canada

Not 100% sure if i can put recent success down to this new feature, but out my last 20 signups 6 have completed an offer. My previous average was 1 out of 13 signups converting, so let’s hope the success continues. Thanks FJ!
