Hi All,

As we're well into the summer season now we thought we'd have a special promotion for all you lovely exceemers.

The FJ Summer Sale is now on until 31 August!

Basically we're knocking 1 referral off all our gifts until the end of August! (excluding custom orders)

This promotion can only be used once per member but all you have to do to claim your discount is post in this thread when you are 1 referral short of the required referrals.

To give an example, someone wants a Nintendo Wii from our consoles site (9 referrals), so they get 8 referrals and then post in this thread with their ID, i'll reduce the number required to 8 and they'll get their verify button It couldn't be easier!

This applies to all gift across our sites with the exception of custom orders and bank transfers/vouchers will be calculated in the usual way if preferred (85%)

when you say this can't be done for custom orders does this apply to me?

i have 2 refs on apple.freebiejeebies and i'm going for a custom order. could i not get another ref to the value of a shuffle 2gb and then get like amazon vouchers instead of the shuffle OR a custom order at the value of the shuffle?

We will do vouchers instead of the shuffle at 85% of the value (so a 2GB shuffle is 3 refs at the moment, you have 2 so I would reduce the 2GB shuffle to 2 refs and you would receive 85% of the value of the 2GB shuffle in vouchers)

We are not offering the 1 ref discount for custom gifts so you'd either have to take the shuffle or the cash/voucher equivalent of it.

I know I don't usually use FJ (but might for the next month) but can I just clarify something? Obviously with Lovefilms taking so long to go through at the moment what would be the position for people who have enough refs but because of the long pending miss the end of August for verifying? Would you consider a slight extension in light of the pending issue?

Sorry Saint, I didn't really make that clear - for the purposes of this offer the pendings will count as greens so as long as you have enough pendings/greens (-1) for the gift then you can have the 1 ref discount

xbox360guy - i might be being blind but i can't see a gift voucher option on there? but if we can order them then yes that's no problem

Hi Richard- i'm verifying this weekend for the 3 console games, and I reckon it will be my only 'non custom order' for the next month, so would it be possible to obtain my discount still, even though i've pressed verify already? Every green is precious at the mo! Thanks, no matter if not though
