| I know there is a forum add on that stops people posting links until they have reached a certain number of posts. Maybe 10 posts would give people enough time to actually look for themselves and ask the standard questions without posting their ref link and then feeling hard done by (and never returning) when their post is altered and told to read the rules. All forums are like pubs. They have regulars, you can't walk into a pub for the first time and interact with the people in it. You have to learn the feel of a forum, learn the rules, learn the code of conduct. |
