FreebieJeebies USA and Netflix Offer

The addition of those from the US being able to complete FrebieJeebies is great. So far I've managed to get greens to complete of all the available offers excluding Netflix, although I have a magnitude of yellows which I expect may have chosen this offer.

I've contacted support and Alex has told me that they are unaware how popular the the offer is and that it takes between 14-21 days to credit.

So I was wondering if one has had a Netfilx complete, or has tried the offer and is waiting for the credit. I am aware though that it is only been 18 since FreebieJeebies opened up to the US.

Any chance of this offer gaining some sort of pending status to let us know its being completed??

Hey Aidsoo, we've not had any Netflix offer completion details through yet but because it's such early days and we've been told it can take between 14-21 days to credit, we're not sure whether that's because no-one's completed the offer or whether it's just because none have come through yet.

We can't add it with a 'pending' status - the ones with a pending status are ones where the advertiser uses a pending status, so we just copy that onto the FJ accounts. The advertiser isn't updating us at all until 14-21 days have passed on this one, but I don't believe any USA offers have a pending status so at least when it comes through it should be permanent.

I didnt realise how long some of the us offers took to turn green. Do you have any details on how often the different companies update.

Same here I have over 10 accounts that are still red and have been for over a week. It would be great to have a more detailed analysis of how different companies update, but I guess that would mean they would have to do that not FJ. Maybe?

Having had them all complete expect Netfilx, I can say that they are all fast creditors, going in green in 1-3 days.

Blockbuster does seem to take a little longer on the other hand. Hopefully FreebieJeebies can lets us know when the first Netfilx greens come threw. If ever they do!

I have had a little look into the company and they do seem to be the US version of Lovefilm. They even have the same placement on the US offers page as Lovefilm does on the UK version. Anyway...The company seems to have a high turn over, boasts of sending out billions of DVDs, and being the top online film rental firm in the US, so i've got my finger crossed they'll come threw soon.

We have had a few Netflix offers through today, for the first time The people who have completed the offers all signed up to our sites on 22/03 so this is a clear indicator that there is definitely a delay on us receiving these details through of at least 2 weeks, as advised to us by our advertiser.

So hopefully some more Netflix offer completions should now start to come through on a fairly regular basis.

Sorry about the delay with this offer - it is the only US offer with such a long delay but at least there is no pending status when it finally comes through

The other US offers seem to come through within a day or two of being completed, unless they haven't tracked in which case we follow these up as normal.

No, afraid not. Rich has had to stay away with work 3 nights in a row and won't be home until Thursday evening. The ordering will more than likely resume on Friday.

I'll also be away tomorrow night but we'll get back to normal again on Thursday.

They come through every day, but approximately 14 days behind.

Concerning the netflix offer, I must admit that I am a little confused on how the whole thing works.

My question is simply how does netflix know who I am In accordance with freebiejeebies? And must I use all the exact same information on netflix as on freebiejeebies to get things to go through?

And so you are saying that "yes" is the answer to "Do I have to use all the exact same info such as billing address, email address, name etc for this to work right, for netflix to recognize me as a freebiejeebies person?"?

Freebiejeebies, along with all the other freebie networks have website scripts that track and follow that you have joined under one of the advertisers offers. In this case, Netflix.

Yes, you have to use your real information when you join Netflix, along with any other offers you do.

because all of the offers are affiliate programs, they give freebiejeebies a unique url. Just like freebiejeebies give a unique url! This url is part of some code like php, which tracks the referrals!

It doesnt have to be accordance with freebiejeebies, but it should be legitimate!

So if scripts are used, then I guess I can assume that I don't need to go to netflix from freebiejeebies or whatever site im using, I can just go to netflix.com, and they will know through use of their scripts?

NO! You must use the Netflix link provided from your freebiejeebies account for the offer to be tracked, and your offer being credited.

As for the trial business, I reckon you get credited after you have completed the 2 week trial. Remember, you do not have to continue the service if you do not wish, the requirements consist of you taking out the free trial.

Nope, the offer requirements for Netflix are that you keep Netflix past the free trial.

right, this much i understand.

it is said that it takes 2-3 weeks to credit. my question is:

2-3 weeks from when:

a) when trial is begun.
b) when 2-week trial is over
c) when first full month is over
d) whenever the amount is actually charged to card

etc..
