Did me changing my refferal link on my site boost FJ's google place?

well i pretty much said it in the title but basically I've had 360giveaway on my site but I've completed that now so swapped the link for freebiejeebies and since i have the freebiejeebies console site has gone up in the ranks for the search term "free xbox 360".

i keep a close eye on places of sites for this term (and also just "free xbox") and 360giveaway was always one above me for "free xbox 360" worldwide search and one below me for "free xbox 360" uk search and now that has changed from 360giveaway to console freebiejeebies, interesting and was wonderring if i had anything to do with it lol?

I think it might do yeh, acts as another backlink for FJ when you next get crawled by google.

its changed a little now and always does but FJ still ahead of 360giveaway which they arn't very often for not very long

I can't see that it would make a big difference. Google is looking for links back to your site, not the other way around.

but i doubt it would help much

just noticed someones finally knocked me off the top spot for the keyword free xbox 360
ive been there for over a year

not goner work to get the spot back its served it purpose and got me thousands of pounds worth of free stuff.

gimme4free is probable getting priority for the keyword free xbox 360
due to the backlinks and indexed pages it has for that domain because it has a forum.

just one link off a small site wouldnt have changed this, take into consideration how many sites link to freebiejeebies though

lol didn't take too long i see. by that i'm surprised you only have one site on a top spot of google, or do you have others??

ive let some slip but
all my domain names have been first on google and they have all served there purpose 3 times over so. so ive let a few slip.

i would rather spend my time getting my gambling related sites 1st for diffrent keywords
the time spent on a freebie site to get first could be spent on one of my gambling sites to get first as that would give you the money to buy a ipod touch and a macbook air and have some spare change.

Affiliate marketing is good if you know what your doing! I do a couple of things on the side with ebay/amazon affiliate marketing which brings in a nice side income

same here, i use it with my method at times. i know an affiliate that pays $80 for each sale, i got 3 sales after a long period of time but still worth it really...it works out much better than freebie hunting but harder to do:

3 sales - $240
3 referrals - iPod shuffle worth £45

I was just wondering. If you have a domain which just has a simple index page that forwards after 5 seconds to a network. Are you still able to get listed high in search engine rankings. And do you benefit from the networks keyword etc as you link straight to the site.

maybe but why not have a site that explains the process to people that way you can include keywords as well, so you get rank and a good conversion rate from people coming to your site because you've explained it well.
