I'm not going to try that....but I'm afraid they might mistake a Dynamic address as trying to cheat or something ?

Hi.

Is it ok to have two referrals with the same IP? I'm asking this because I'm trying to get my college friends to join FJ and they are roommates. Can they register under the same IP? Or should I tell only one of them to be my referral?

As said many times, no. They can't sign up to the same FreebieJeebies Sub-Site from the same IP Address.

Question

please enlight me

I am genuinely lost. If one of my flat mates (same IP) has an account with FJ but he didn't went through any offer (he doesn't believe-what a ... ), am I in the risk of getting blocked? I did my offer, right now I am looking for referrals (like everybody else), but this issue is kind of worrying for me. We didn't reffered each other. we just found a link on google, probably, not sure, we have the same refferer. could someone wise clarify me on this. Thank you

Regards

Andrados

Hello, I read the discussion has come some doubts
1 - when complete the offer I have the same IP when I signed up?
2 - to join other sites freebiejeebies, having already registered, can I use the same IP? the same data (email, postal address)? I have to complete another bid than the first?

I ask for confirmation because I did not understand

Not as far as I know...The IP used to sign-up is where the policy tends to apply. AFAIK; FreebieJeebies won't mind you clicking [Verify] from a different IP (You could be using a web cafe or have a connection with a dynamic IP) as long as you've signed up to the FJ site(s) that you use from your own Internet connection.

  1. Yes - You can sign up once to each FJ site from the same IP...So you can sign-up to Apple.FJ, Select.FJ, HDTV.FJ etc all from your home connection, but two or more signups to the same FJ site from your connection would cause all connected accounts (Your own plus others signed up from there) to go on permanent hold.
  2. Yes - You have to complete a different offer on each site. To clarify, you can't complete WorldWinner (Or whatever) on each site, and you can only complete one of the few "linked" offers (I.E: Intuit and Homestead, who are both owned by the same company AFAIK) due to the way that the system works.
Hope this helps!

Could I please ask about the whole moving house thing? I'm (hopefully) going to be moving soon, so I will be on a different IP and my address (home) will need to be changed, how do I know if the person who lived there before me has already signed up? (not like I think he's the type who would have!).

Thanks
Amy

This wouldn't cause an IP address problem because your accounts wouldn't be connected in any way (this is one of the exceptions to the IP address rule; another is shared IP issues due to the provider using limited IP addresses).

In the unlikely event that the previous resident has signed up to our site it could cause a postal address conflict and we would need them to give us their new address.

I ask for help especially to mod freebiejeebies.
In Italy on WorldWinner and Wink Bingo can not register because they have a license to engage in "the territory" Italian.
Wink Bingo on the site of the recording showing this message

"We're sorry, but due to restricted regulations in your country, we cannot allow you to play on this site. If you are already a member, you are still able to withdraw your funds at any time. For further assistance please contact Member Support."

Worldwinner instead on the Italian state with a screen lock that prevents access.
I found that changing the DNS you can work around this problem, but if I use this method I can complete the deals by Wink Bingo and Wordwinner so that I activate the account?

Are one of these not allowed? If they had their laptop at my house would their IP address change to my IP address?

No the reciever that they connect to the usb has it own ip because it connects to a satilite not a local router.

Quick question. At my University I know that there are about three maybe four different IP's. Halls of residence, business block, law and the library. If I go to the IT guys on campus and they are different IP's could i refer people to sign up there?

Thanks

There's still the chance of getting the same IP, so I recommend not, but if you want to take the risk then I guess you could.

You could if you check with the IT guys... but that means you'll only be able to get 4 referrals! May just about be worth it.

If I were you I would go and talk to the IT guys and find out how many EXTERNAL IP address they have and where they cover... THEN go and talk to FJ via support ticket and check with them it's OK... THEN get your 4 friends to sign up if it's all good!
