![]() | Hey I have (yet another) question ! For proxys ( I dont fully understand but from what i gather its a way of having an invisible IP or something right? Are there certain places that use them or do you have to go out of your way to use one? Internet cafes, wi-fi places would they use them ? |

Whether or not you're behind a proxy is not always under your control. Sometimes different ISPs (internet service providers) automatically use one, and they can also be used by different locations automatically - usually for the same reason. If you're in any doubt about whether or not you're behind a proxy, click here and you can easily find out. I'm sure this is probably why you asked the question in the first place, but remember that you cannot access or sign up to freebie websites from behind a proxy. | |

![]() | I only read to page 4 and didn't find what I was looking for. Right, My Dad and My brother live in the same house. My dad signed up to the AA credit card through my Gadgets link and My Bro Signed up to love film Through my Apple link. This is ok isnt it?? |

![]() | Help, I new to all this! I have just signed up to FJ and done the LOVEFILM offer. However my friend was here at the same time and wanted to sign up as well, so he signed up using a referal link. This was before we read the Same IP policy, silly I know. I have sent a support ticked, but was just wondering if we can have him taken off, so he can re-sign up at his house later? Obviously, also I don't want it affecting me either as I have just got my first referal from someone else! Regards Ben Last edited by Fridge03; 13-06-10 at 12:48 PM.. |

![]() | im having a hard time understanding how internal ip addresses are unique.....The internal IP is the IP you have on your local network. Meaning the one that your router assigns to you. It is not unique....alot of people have the same branded routers that use the same internal ip address |

![]() | Just a quick question from me, if I may... Now, I'm currently giving thought to starting up my own site(s) etc to bag a few freebies for myself if I can get the greens...But I have a vague memory in the back of my mind that I might've signed up to FJ quite some time ago, but wasn't keen on completing any offers. I can't remember when this signup was, but it would've been at least 12-18 months ago and made on an e-mail account that I no longer use. Now assuming that my IP address is the same as it was back then: Would FJ accept my new registration as the genuine User signed up, user forgot, user re-joined case that it is...Or would FJ either require me to use my old account (Which I have no hope of remembering it's details) or block both my old and new one? |

![]() | What happens if you have a dynamic IP (Ip that resets every time you turn your router/computer off and on again...or something like that) ?
