I asked the same thing about the 999 referrals - I wanted to replace it with a question mark. Unfortunately the field has to have a numeric value, so anyone who is going to be confused by 999 referrals would be equally confused by another number. If we put a low number in, we might get complaints that we were suggesting they could get any gift for a low number of referrals

I was afraid that was the reason the 999 was there. Your right, it couldn't be a low number. I guess i'll just have to stop refering simpletons!!

I should have asked this before but forgot, HDTV is a once only site right?? So if i (magically) got for example 100 refs (easy guys, just speaking hypothetically) i could only get one TV not a few to make up to 100.

Lol good point! Well we've already got it on sports too so why not?! Everyone should have the opportunity to win a wii, they are very cool. And it is definitely a mod con

Ha ha, probably not but i just wanted to check. Having said that if i had a choice i would normally go for the biggest but on your site that is a plasma so i would go for a smaller one with fewer refs so maybe.

Ignore me, it probably won't be as succesful as i hope!

Ha ha, trust me it doesn't!! Plus i reckon i will be working on setting it up for the next 6 or so weeks before i implement it, which is plenty of time for someone to sneak in and beat me to it!!

Though as much i would like to keep it secret, when i start on it you guys (freebie jeebies) will be able to work it out pretty quickly. Though, it has nothing to do with that thing i PM'd you about in case you were wondering, that's just me trying to help someone out, but not too much if you see what i mean.

But like i say, it'll probably turn out to be rubbish so nothing to get excited about.

It's ok, in 6 weeks when i implement my new method i will have greens coming out of my ears (makes a change from my nose) so i'll give you a Wii.

I did one of those facial recognition things you see on MySpace to see who your celeberity lookalike are, and apparently i look 83% like Colin Farrel. Which is fine but then the other 7 went abit awry. They were (i can't remember the order)
David Schwimmer (Fair enough i guess),
Zach Braff (funny show, not keen on the lookalike though),
James Marsters (Spike in Buffy, fairly cool),
Lee Ryan (hell no)
But then it gets a bit surreal
Sarah Michelle Gellar (she's hot, but why is she in my lookalikes?)

And there was a random Black actor!!

The fact that i'm a white male suggests its not the most accurate software. I'm sure brad pitt would have been my 9th lookalike.
