![]() | i've been ripped off by freebiemobile.co.uk!! what shall i do??i just wanted to let you guys know of my experience with this network and the owner - who seems to be some sort of a rip off merchant. i mean i signed up under his network, with the intention of actually receiving a FREE mobile phone, after i had met the requirements of that partciular offer. yet my account is now placed on hold and i am still awaiting for some sort of a decent reply from him. i chose this phone with the requirements of - LG KG800 (Chocolate) 18 referrals however, i ended up getting - Your Referrals (28 complete/131 total) i tried to contact the owner several times previously but he would not answer my support tickets or any PM i would send on exceem. now after several relentless messages he has replied with these two messages as to the reason for not sending me my FREE mobile phone: You effectively gained all your referals from spamming eBay, which is breach of eBay's terms and conditions, therefore your account is on hold. Regards, Adrian @ iFree Media Your account is on hold, with a number (More than 5/6) of your referals deemed fraudulent. Your account will remain on hold. all this seems to me to be a ploy for him not wanting to send out my FREE gift. i mean ok i understand if using eBay as a method to obtain referrals you will come across fraudsters, but that isnt to say that i am involved with them or that i have been spamming eBay. i mean how many people on exceem use eBay as a referral method are they all spammers? or is it JUST ME? furthermore, eBay was not my only method of obtaining referrals, i used several others. all i would like to ask the owner is does he have any intention of taking my account of hold, or sending out my FREE mobile phone?? ok fine my account has more than 5/6 fraudulent sign ups, un-hold it and i will continue to gain more legitamate signups. lets hope replies |

Also if you have a look on ebays terms and conditions it will state that such "advertising" is also against the rules. Yes many people you ebay as their sole referal method but everyone takes the risk of having their account placed on hold when getting referals that way. All i can say is it was unlucky that you got caught, and hoepfully you will learn and lesson and not do it in the future or just not get caught! I have no power to close threads but as this seems to be a personal account query between yourself and the owner i think maybe it should be closed (but the mods/admin only have the power). Regards, Simon
