Do i need an extra referral to get a prize shipped to the UK?

I read on A4F just now that i might need an extra referral to get my gift shipped here, is this correct, or is the information out of date, it was posted months ago.

So i could get paypal instead and then buy the thing here instead then, won't work though because it costs about Â£100 less in america than it does here. Think i'll get the extra ref.

Ok, just telling u what i was advised to do by the people at free4me. Could possibly be charged customs money on it seeing as its coming from america.

As for the cheaper price, I am considering taking this up with the people at free4me, as I won't be able to buy my prize over here with the money i recieve. I got the extra credit for shipping anyway so i might ask for extra paypal.

I really don't know what to do now, because i don't want to be charged a fortune in tax, but I would also prefer to have the gift rather than money, i don't think they would be willing to give enough money to buy the gift here though, because it is $200 more here than in the US.

When I asked they said it would be done via amazon.com.
Oh and I had a look at the customs charges and you just have to pay the VAT on the item.

well i sent a support ticket last week about the shipping and why it was taking so long and this is what they said:

Yours should be going out this coming week. We had a problem with amazon.co.uk but we should be able to have everything settled very soon. Sorry for the extra wait.

Thats why i assumed it will b ordered via amazon.co.uk

I opened a support ticket asking about customs and was told that the item would be ordered from the UK so there would be no customs charges etc.

Requires an extra ref but you can do another offer yourself to get the shipping credit!

I have asked them in a support ticket, hopefully i can do an extra offer, because i am getting close to the 12 referrals i need, and doing an extra offer might be easier than referring someone else.

I had all my refs and went to order, then looked 2 days later and it had been denied cos one of my refs is on hold for signing up twice - think he actually did tho altho it may have been by accident, he has 2 emails that showed up on my account that are very similar.

I did an extra offer anyway when i signed up as i was under the impression i'd get an extra ref towards my item on it. Thats why i sent a support ticket asking if it would count as my extra ref for uk.

I'm getting the actual mac
