Basically to get your free item: (1) signup for free to one of the freebie sites (I recommend the freebiejeebies or kudos ones) (2) Complete a sponsored offer - which can be anything from a free, no obligation Lovefilm DVD trial to a broadband service. The reward website will get a bounty or commission for directing new or potenial customers. This helps pay for your free gift and any overhead costs and profit. (3) You get the required amount of friends to signup using your link and complete 1 offer. The amount of referrals required vary on the item selected - an ipod shuffle can be 2 referrals and a ps3 can be as much as 15!
