Security/Privacy Issue

Not sure if this has been addressed before but I thought I'd point this out.

When I follow a referral link to the iPhoneForFree site, it shows the e-mail of the person you're being referred by. I'm not particularly keen on this. Most networks provide the referral ID bit, or a name, if anything. I'm not really comfortable with my e-mail being shown to random people following my link.

This leads to the problem of spamming: people may get e-mails of pretty much every user there is on the site by putting on the ref ID bit at the end of the link one by one.

Some sites seem to be down for me, and from those that I can get onto, CameraForFree, ShuffleForFree, GamingForFree, SpeakForFree and AppleForFree also show the e-mails.

From what I know, under the DPA, you're not allowed to give any personally identifiable information, and to be honest, it's not that hard to find out who an e-mail belongs to.

I think this is a big(ish) problem and I hope something can be done about this.

Thanks
Omair
