Ive just been offered £155 as an alternative to a nintendo Wii. Does anyone else find this strange? Every single other network out there offers full RRP as this item is completely unavailable, and yet its £155 on wiiforfree.

Surely it should be full RRP. Been working this site for over a year, 10/10, 3 extra pendings, 7 on hold (2 for a fact i know should not be) and yet its £155.

Id understand if it was any other gift, due to VAT etc,

Ive seen threads in the past where members have recieved £180 amazon vouchers on wiiforfree..

Hi Ash,

As I've just told you, we also offer the opportunity to receive alternative items to the full value of the Wii console, or you can wait for a Wii to become available. Our margins simply aren't big enough to be able to offer the full value in a voucher, but you won't lose out if you choose items to the value of the Wii.

This has been WiiForFree policy for a number of months now, and no other members have had a problem with it.

Cheers

Ash
I dont think this is strange when other sites are offering 85% as an alternative to items like 60GB PS3s and some mobile phones which are also out of stock on amazon.

If a site is gonna offer 100% on the Wii site because of stock issues, shouldnt that be the same for other items which may never come back into stock again?

I dunno if the site offered 100% before but networks do tend to change their rules sometimes as they go along.

I desired it enough, and had committed myself enough, and have had the passion to complete the site, I have achieved my goal of completing Wiiforfree!
