problems with wiiforfree

i am fairly new to this whole for free scene and am busy completing my first prize.

i raced away to 6 greens in no time with most of the greens coming through within a day (except for LoveFilm, but they are 7-14 days)

However, now that i am so close (i have 3 more people signed up under me), i have started hitting problems and nothing more will go green.

3 people signed up under me and as far as i know completed their offers correctly, 2 of these havent gone pending a week later and the other one after pending for 2 weeks has been revoked. i have contacted support as have the people under me only to be told that they are waiting for the advertisers to respond.

this is very disappointing as the system worked so well but it seems as though when you get close everything stalls, i sincerely hope this is not done on purpose but you do get your doubts when all of a sudden nothing works anymore. The whole system works on referrals and i had to do some convincing to get these people to sign up, now with all these problems i look like an idiot and they look like they are right! i really hope wiiforfree will prove me wrong by coming up with some answers / solutions quickly...

Re: problems with wiiforfree

Hi Lahatfield,

A number of our advertisers do operate a pending status now, during which they check that the offer has been completed correctly. The time advertisers take to review offer completions is out of our control, however we'll be happy to take a look at the registrations in question for you if you could open a support ticket with these users' account IDs (the six-digit number next to their email address).

Regarding the credit was reversed: I can confirm that the advertiser has been contacted about this, requesting a reason, however we are yet to receive a response. As mentioned in your support ticket reply, we'll let you know as soon as we hear back from them.

Just to clarify, we don't make any attempts to stall your referrals. After all, it's also in our best interests to show both you and your referrals that our sites work.

Cheers

Re: problems with wiiforfree

I have created support tickets for these offers and was told that the person who completed the offer needs to submit a ticket, which they have done and they are now waiting as am i on the credit that was revoked.

I understand what you are saying but it is very frustrating when you have put in hard work only to be told to wait indefinately with no guarenteed outcome.

i look forward to receiving responses / greens in the near future but am hoping it is sooner rather than later as my first request re: these credits was nearly 2 weeks ago now ( for 1 of the credits) and a week on the other 2.

It's frustrating for the freebie site too!! They have to wait for a report from the advertiser who often have poor communication and at the same appease their customers.

The key is to be patient, as frustrating as it is! ForFree4u are a good network and will not rip you off. I'm sure you will get your Wii - i've had one (well, an amazon voucher) and can vouch for them, so just be patient and understand the delay isn't down to them and they will do all they can to help.

Re: problems with wiiforfree

for anyone who is interested and reads this thread, just an update on my progress, i am STILL waiting for my last 2 greens which ARE valid offers to go through, they are still yellow and every week i get the same answer from the network, whilst i understand the hassles they are going through to get it sorted there is no way it should take over a month to get a result. Surely there is a process in place to query offers?

So here i am nearly 2 months down the line still waiting, getting frustrated and the 2 people who completed my offers have now been put off the freebie scene which is 2 more customers lost which in anyones books is bad business!

I know it's frustrating, but this isn't ForFree4U's fault. I've completed three of their sites now and can say that they are completely genuine - if they don't get an answer back from the advertisers there isn't a lot more that they can do.

i hear you and i hear what they are saying but there must be some sort of process in place to track down missing offers, because if i dont get my credit, that would mean they dont get their money from the advertiser which makes no sense....

Unfortunately it's all a question of time. The freebie owners contact the sites in question but then it's really out of their hands and they have no idea how quick or slow the reply will be.

I think you'll find the freebie owners are as cheesed off about this as the members because, not only do they have their money delayed but it also delays verification/sending out gifts. I think the most frustrating thing must be that the owners get the abuse from us disgruntled members because they are visible to the exceem members whereas the offer sites are not.
