Generally, analysts predict price drops and increases by looking at the trend of prices in the lowest cost material used to develop that design. If the lowest price component goes up, so will the LCD as a rule of thumb. Recently, there has been a predicted increase in price coming with regards to LCDs due to a lack of supply, after this massive influx of demand. Perhaps that is what we are starting to see?
