mine came from amazon from wiiforfree so i think its just when they can get hold of them then they are shipped out first come first served

Yes... Claire does seem to get everything... including that phone from the 02 site bug.

still cant beleive there is hardly any stock and its been out for almost 5 months now, it wasnt even this bad with the xbox 360

I agree, it's like Nintendo have been taken by surprise at the success of the Wii and simply not made many consoles. I guess with Xbox 360 and PS3, they were always going to sell but maybe Nintendo didnt want to make millions of consoles and not sell many.

Wish there were more too, I need a Wii badly

sorry for the late reply ! wasnt me that got the phone i wish i had , i wish i did get everything cant seem to get any greens these days!

all the games are great for kids and adults its great for when you got a couple of mates round and the beer is flowing too , i have only got a couple of games but i like them all , i have got wii sports (which came with it ) and wii play which are great for showing people how to use the controller and get used to it etc, i have got monkeyball which is much the same as on the playstation but bloody frustrating cause you are controlling the monkey by tilting your controller! and i have got zelda which is great .got red steel and warioware on there way so ill let you know about those!

I got verified just over a week ago I think, on WiiForFree. I've just ordered a 22" LG widescreen monitor too from Scan, so that should go nicely with the Wii when it arrives

Hope Amazon take stock soon!

Apparently Nintendo have purposely released small amounts of Wii consoles to keep the demand higher for when the PS3 was launched. Hence why at the end of this month the Wii won't be in such short supply.

I've heard these rumours also. I would have thought that they would be available around the launch date of the PS3, but none have been in stock that I know of in any great abundance than before the launch. I hope that does change soon though

The Wii were in stock at Amazon earlier today. About 50 minutes ago now. Wonder if more will appear tonight as they often stagger the stock release.

We're still working on getting more consoles. Some should be available in April, however can make no guarantees. If you'd prefer not to wait, the Amazon voucher alternative is still available.

Yes, an Amazon voucher alternative is currently being offered until more stock becomes available.
