When that referral signs up to do the offer, the company reports to the affiliate network that they have done so thus giving that referral the credit. Lets take LoveFiLM for example. The offer requirement as we know, is to sign up and rent at least 2 dvd's. When I sign up to LoveFiLM, before I even add 10 rental dvd's to my list - LoveFiLM report to the affiliate network to give me credit. But when the freebie site does it verification checks, LoveFiLM go into detailed checks on my account with them. If I havent completed the offer like I was supposed to (to receive 2 dvd's), then LoveFiLM will report back to the affiliate network to revoke my credit. There are also credit revokes for things like duplicate accounts, expired CC details and offer cancellation. Anyone care to tell me if I'm right/wrong? | |

| Re: Verify Dates?OK so that makes sense. But for most of the offers you can cancel right? Which days nothing about staying the course for the full 30 days, Lovefilm you can cancel (but you need to receive at least 2), Fasthosts says nothing about staying for a mont and the gambling ones do say you have to do something. |

| Re: Verify Dates?OK now I'm confused. The Which trial for example says nothing about having to actually stay to the end. From someone who has been a customer of theirs for 7 years, I can see taht some people will still cancel though? |

I see what you mean about the Which trial not saying about staying on. But my point is that people should stay on to fully minimize the risk of having their credit revoked - call it "Staying On The Safe Side". | |
