Proxy

Hey, im on my 4th post, probably not all meaningfull. But i was just reading what it takes to get into trade section and it says not be behind a proxy. Well, i have a feeling that i am, but i cant get round it cos im at university and to get on the internet we have to go through it. (Well i think im behind one, we had to set it up in IE) To get internet at all.

So will it still be possible for me to get into the trades section, i have connection back at home but it a 8 hour round trip not exactly convinient? HAHA?

Well it shouldn't be a problem. Just keep being helpful on the forum an we'll review your case when it comes round to granting you access.

The reason behind this rule is because if you happen to scam a member (not saying you will), we would be unable to track you if you use a proxy, list your information in the trade application and it should be fine.

Make sure you don't sign up for freebie sites ( i.e freebiejeebies ) using a proxy or complete offers either. You will need to sign up and do offer from your home.

But even if your not using a proxy at school I would not advise signing up from school because if anyone else has access to the computer or ip address at your school and has signed up or does in the future your account will be put on hold. Good Luck.

Right so the tester said i was behind a proxy. But no-one else has access to this pc as it the one locked in my room.
