How do you close one of your own trades?

I am only guessing here hope a senior member will correct me if I am wrong:
You just type trade closed so that members will not ask questions etc... and then the trade will close itself out when it's due date is passed.

Correct me please if I am wrong.

There is a button if I remember right. On the trade page.

yes there is a button but when i click mine it says that i don't have the authority to close the trade

Are you the owner of the trade, ie have you opened up the trade, maybe that's why you can not close it.

yes i started the trade and the trade is now completed. On the old systme there used to be an option to "confirm your trade" and then once it was completed you could close it accordingly and leave feedback.
This is my first time using the new system though and i can't figure it out lol.

knowing me it's probably something dead simple.

Not sure about that, I am having problems just figuring out a logical sorting way to the trading section, I have posted about it, so it may not be you it could be a glitch.

If you simply want to close it because you no longer want to trade, report the listing so a staff member can close it for you.

If you want to close it because you have agreed to trade, then you need to fill in the textbox with the username/id of the member you are trading with.
