![]() ![]() | How long do I wait for the user to log back onSomeone responded to my trade, I asked a question then just decided to trade with him. Since then he hasn't been back online. It has only been 4 days but I was wondering how long I have to wait for him to come back online before I can just give up. Neither of us have signed up or anything, I have just posted my referral link and also sent a PM asking the user if they still want to trade. |

Maybe users forget about it. Maybe exceem should develop an individual trading page so users can see the trades they are involved with. Just an idea, sometimes i even forget and when i remember its to late.

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: How long do I wait for the user to log back onI'd give it a week then look for another trader. If neither of you have signed up, he's not lost anything and if he does respond to your pm at a later date, can explain you did another trade etc

![]() ![]() | Re: How long do I wait for the user to log back onI bookmark my trades. Learned that when I first started trading since I was involved in a few at a time and kinda lost track. I also had a spreadsheet detailing who I was trading with and what site I had signed up to for it. Anyway, I'll give the guy the week like you said. This last green I need for MGS seems to be cursed though. People I'm trading with for it seem to keep disappearing. |

I like web development but sitting in an office from 9-5 churning out basically the same website every time was a shade depressing. And I don't really have the confidence to go freelance. I've done a couple of sites for friends but think I'll leave the rest to the business savy. | |

If you are capable in doing what you say on your site then Freelance is the way to go. You could be earning a VERY decent wage working about 4 days a week from home. Shame you have acquired all those skills and just develop websites for friends. My cousin who is about 30. She gained a 1st class honors in mathamatics and have very low confidence/self asteem. If she wanted she could be working for a very lucrative job in say london, however she just works for an accountacy firm locally and still lives at home. If you manage to get the confidence and spend as much time freelancing as you do on this forum you'll be rolling in the $$$ ... joke But then again money isnt everything
