Trading system upgrade - coming soon - now here!

Right, after spending much of the day coding, the new trading system is nearly ready. Much of the delay in it has been due to me trying to upgrade the information in the current system to the new one, but due to a few big changes this wont be possible.

So what this means is that the only information transferred to the new system is the feedback scores. All trades/comments will be left on the old system.

To transfer to the new system the following will happen

Link to new trading system is http://www.exceem.co.uk/forums/trading/

1. No new trades will be allowed in the old trading system
2. No new feedback will be able to be left in the old trading system
3. Feedback scores will be transferred to the new system
4. The new system will be turned on for new trades

****NEW RULE IN PLACE***
No referral links can be posted until a trade has been agreed

This will mean that people who have agreed to trade, but not yet completed will have to re-list the trade on the new upgraded system.

If you have listed a trade on the old system but not yet agreed to anything, then you will simply create a new listing on the upgraded system, and post a comment in your old listing which includes a link to the new listing. NO trades should be arranged in the old system from now on

New system is now up and running at Trading - eXceem

Feedback scores have been transferred to the new system (and I have removed all the ghost feedbacks!)

So now everything should be up and running, new trades should be able to be left on the new system, and hte old system can be used to communicate for "active" trades

Forgot to add, there is now a new rule in place, which is "no referral links can be posted until a trade has been agreed"

Main reason being that there are to many members who join a link before a trade is agreed, and then demand payment etc

thanks the new system looks brilliant! It was definitely in need of upgrading and im sure that this new upgrade will make it a lot more efficient.

Any way I can appeal against my negative feedback Jon? She's not an active member, and I paid her!!

Have changed the code, so that any empty category's on the left hand side of the main trading page are hidden, meaing only catergory's with active trades inside them are visible on the left column, the other areas were catergory's are listed are not affected

I'm guessing after a period of time the old trades will be deleted altogether?

I'm waiting to be paid for a trade in the old section, shall I continue to post comments on the trade progress there? Or do I need to make an new trade?

Then if me and my trader are to leave feedback for each other, we can only leave it in the old, because that's where the trade is..

But then, how will the feedback be copied over, manually or automatically?

Sorry for the confusion, it's took me ages to work out in my head what I need to sort, I have two trades to deal with.

Simplist way is to carry on the trade in the old section, and once its complete create a "dummy" trade in the new section, to enable you to leave feedback. in the "dummy" trade include a link to the trade in the old section.

Already love the new trade section.

Kudos has it's own section (not in unsupported section), obviously shows everyone has the utmost confidence in them in becoming supported soon (or are they already ), and so they should!
