New! - Access for new members to the trades area

We have changed the way new members gain access to the trades system, it used to be a automatic promotion after 5 days membership on eXceem and making 5 posts.

Now members need to request access to join the trades area, and your request will be looked at by a member of eXceems staff. All requests will be looked at within 24 hours, though in the few cases were the staff feel a second opinion is needed, it will be passed on to me to take a look at.

To request trade access simply goto the following link:

• http://www.exceem.co.uk/forums/profi...editusergroups

(A similar function will also be setup for members who wish to contribute to the information area)

The requirement to access the trades area will remain the same

• Be a member of eXceem for 5 days
• Created 5 meaningful posts

Additionally a new requirement will be made

• Must not be using a proxy while accessing eXceem (we know about proxies that ISP's use so these wont count)

I hope this makes sense, while I dont want to make the trades area to hard to get access to, I do want to restrict it from the few that choose to scam, to protect eXceems trustworthy traders. If you have any feedback please let me know

I know this sounds stupid but im not sure how many days I have been signed up for...Im not sure if it is five. Is it possible I could begin trading before my five days because I would really like to start and experience..thanks!

you have been a member 3 days , and no its not possible before 5 days sorry

I'm sure i had 5 post before i sent the last 2 otherwise i would not have requested access. I did read the rules.

Can I ask why is there a five post rule? I'm new here, and to forums in general. I would like to sit back and read a lot more before I give my opinion, but to start trading I need to post! So here is the first one. Well I hope it is? Emma you say some posts don't count? well I haven't found a list of places where they do and don't count. I must addmit that I haven't read every link in the info site yet. Could you give me a hint as which rules, apart from "don't post referals" and "wait 5 days, make 5 posts" before requesting to trade. I should be looking at.

well you can read aroudn the forum the first 5 days you need to be a member, then post some stuff (no spam) and then apply for access to the trade center, if you'r still ne and learning then technically you shouldnt be making or wanting to make trades ASAP anyway... take some time to learn about the system, people, types of trades and also who can be trused which is pretty much everyone

you are not on the waiting list so i presume you have either been allowed in or denied ! have you tried to get in the trades section to see ?
