New! - Access for new members to the trades area

I'm pretty sure Emma said that when you applied, you hadn't met the five post requirement. I realise you had made five posts, but as was said, posts don't count in all sections as shown by your post count only reaching five above as pointed out.

That could have something to do with it.

I applied to be able to access the trades area the other day and havent heard back from anyone yet and still cant access it as yet...just wondering was their anything wrong with my application or does it take a while to be accepted??

your request is not showing which either means you have been accepted or denied , have you actually tried to get into the trades section ?

on the subject of application to trades (which i recently did) how successful would you rate it? Whilst twisting the arms of my nearest and dearest is far cheaper it gets increasingly tricky!

As tricky as it is, I reckon it's quicker than trading - and believe it or not it can also be alot less stressful

If a moderator has a minute and could approve my request to join the trade group I'd appreciate it - I've been a member for 5 days exactly.. but does it count considering the down time?

I would have thought the downtime would count as a day, i'm pretty sure you'll have no problem gaining access to the trade area because you've actually made meaningful posts and look like you're going to become part of the community unlike a large bunch of the mugs that post crap and then make posts requesting trade access

Asking in public wont make the process any quicker - apply as stated in the first post and it will be reviewed soon - I wont be doing any this evening as I still have a lot of work to do on the server.

Can i also say that msn/email/pm/visitor messaging me will not make the process any quicker and you are simply wasting your time - my priority is to get the server back to normal (not aimed at anyone in particlular but every other message is "weres my trade access..."

Oops - I didn't realise that I'd already been given access. I was looking for a new section to appear on the forum index. My bad. I didn't mean to cause any trouble by asking publicly if I could be approved either. I just figured it wouldn't hurt because I'd noticed a few moderators had been on for a while and perhaps they wouldn't mind taking a look.
