Stuffed Up A Trade - I think!

Hi,

I need help! I posted a trade offer and got three people wanting to trade with me. I closed the trade but then pressed back and now have no idea what I should be doing as I can't find the right page. Please help!

well apart from breaking the rules by spamming teh same trade 6 times, heres the one you need (teh other 5 have been deleted)

If you are going green for green, you just need to place one trade in the network you need greens for. you dont spam every other network in the trades system.

Cheers Jon - although I think it would work better if you could post elsewhere rather than in your own network. Having posted on the 360giveaway section yesterday I received no responses. Posting this way got me three responses very quickly. Obviously I understand that you don't want people clogging up the system, but perhaps they should be allowed to post in one network of their choice rather than being restricted to the one on which they are working. Or perhaps I should shut up because I am new and perhaps just a little cheeky!

Just realised that I still don't know how to contact the person I am meant to be trading with and that is the problem, rather than not being able to go to the link. I don't appear to be able to personal message them.

you dont have to pm him, you leave continue to exchange details/swap links/update status reports etc in the trade listing, the person you traded with should also do this.

Due to the high number of newbies signing up, and abbusing the pm system, we had to put this feature in place to prevent fraud.

Sorry Jon but that was the link I lost. I don't seem to have any way to progress the trade.

you should still be able to leave comments in the trade listing...

So if I also want to trade with the other two people that responded is there an easy way to get in touch with them - especially bearing in mind I was in the wrong network?

if you are able to do another trade then you create another advert and make a comment in the original trade linking to the new trade.

It sounds complex, but it saves problems later on.
