Call to action image/banner for Giveaway

I knocked up a few quick pages/posts for Giveaway Network | Free Gifts Shipped Worldwide but am not entirely happy with the one on the homepage.

It's the one under the heading "Get started towards your free gifts right now" - the image includes the text "Take action, get started now". You should see the one I mean from the homepage.

I'm looking for inspiration but was thinking about an image or banner that contained a selection of gadgets (similar to the main site header), with a call to action like "Claim you free gifts right now" and maybe a "click here".

All ideas welcome, thanks again.

Some inspiration for you, they don't necessarily have gadgets on them but if you need more help tomorrow i will be happy to help.

I thought about maybe making something like this:

Just the part to the right (square plus with objects around) but instead have a wide button and have maybe a iphone or gadget either side?

In terms of general style, this one catches my eye:

I don't think green would suit, more grey/black to fit in with the site.

The "read more" button could be bigger and I'd change that to say "Claim you free gift now" and underneath that in smaller text (possible still in the button bit), "Sign up in just 60 seconds".

Then the gadgets would go on the right side where the iPhone is now on the example.

Just a few thoughts, like I said I am open to ideas.

How are these? I made one png (static) and on gif, the animated gif will work better on a white background which your site has, tried to fit in with your site so i used blue like in the logo.

Might be the slow internet connection I'm using at the moment, but for me, it's pulsing and not flashing.

What do you mean by pulsing? As in fading in and out? If so it's meant to be doing that, runs smoothly on mine though.

Amazing stuff Ryan. I will try and get the site updated tonight but have just come in from a 3 hour drive, need copious quantities of red bull!

Then off to Macclesfield an Manchester tomorrow/Saturday. Too old for it all. Lol

Looks cracking mate.

The only thing that I wouldn't mind seeing, if it isn't too much work, is to have the "claim your free gift now" in a button to make it stand out a bit more.

What I am trying to say, is like the first couple on this page: 25 Examples of Convincing Call-to-Action Buttons | Design Shack

The button bits I mean.

Thanks again.

So you want another one with just the button and no images? What about the sub-heading text?

Also what do you mean by stand out more? I think it stands out now, the colour is quite eye catching, i can speed up the animation or what not.

No, sorry, I knew I didn't explain it well.

I love the image as it is, I just want that bit of text to stand out more, so it looks like it is a button on the rest of the image.

(Lol, my best MSpaint!)

Tbh I had to look quite closely before I saw the pulsing! I know you want something subtle, but it has to be a little eyecatching. (Could just be the background, but when viewed on a white bg you can hardly see it!)

Like you said, i didn't want it to draw the readers attention, as that's just annoying when your trying to read a article, when you glance at it, you may notice but it won't distract you.

Uploaded the new image and am very impressed, thanks again mate.

I resized it via the blog post, hope it still looks sharp? Could do it through image editor, it said some or all of the animation would be lost.

Cheers again.
