Website Background Request

Hi all,

I need a background design made for a new website please. I have attached an image of the kind of thing I'd like. Obviously I/you can't blatently copy that one but I like the style.

It will need:
A city theme (preferably Melbourne, AUS)
Swirly bits

I'd like it to be light blue or green, not sure about the size as my site will probably stretch it, so whatever works best.

I can PM the link to the actual site it will go on if you need to see the layout so you can see which bits will be seen/hidden.

This is for what we hope to be a business. I know you lot very kindly provide this help for free, but if I use your background I will happily credit you on the website, and may ask for more images in the future!

And I don't want to seem rude, but as this is for a business please only have a go if you think you can produce something of the quality in the attachment, otherwise you may be wasting your time.

Does anybody else fancy having a go as well? Ryan has done a great one but I'd like to see others' ideas too, and could even have different backgrounds for different pages.

Small bump incase anybody may have forgotton... No names DJos...

I'd also like a logo as well please if anyone's able. The logo needs to be able to go on a dark and a light background.

We can discuss details by PM but here are my thoughts:

1. Needs to say Bang!Vouchers
2. I like the idea of playing on the word 'Bang!' so incorporating a stick of dynamite (as the '!' ?) or one of those cannon ball bombs with a fuse like you see in cartoons as one of the letters etc
3. Size needs to be about 300px wide x 100px high
4. I have no styling in mind, so use your imagination..

If you haven't seen the website it will go on, drop me a PM and I'll send you a link, or figure it out yourself - it won't take a genius!

As mentioned previously, but to clarify, anybody that provides graphics for this site will be credited (if they want to be) with a link to their graphic design (or related) website - but not to their freebie site!

Thanks, good 1st attempt. I'd like the whole space in the 300x100 area to be used though if possible, and I think the background may need to be transparent. And I think it's a bit too busy with the dynamite and the bomb, one or teh other may be better.
Also, I'm not sure I like the font either...

Optimised for a white background, it does work with a black background but not as well, will need to be optimised to work properly with it.

I tried to use the colours linked with the site. If you don't like it that's fine.

If you are making it again though, can you add the ! so it says bang!vouchers please?

Also, it will need to go on black and white/greyish blue backgrounds so if it can be optimised for both that would be great, otherwise can you do one optimised for each?

Hey the website still works if you just go to faqs.php or zone.php or any other page execpt for index.php

I don't know how you do it, but I like it! Thanks for these. I'll load them up over the weekend an see how it looks. My business partner has approached a pro designer as well so I can't promise we'll end up using these but if yours looks best we will!

No problem, i have offered to do some designing for free, can't guarantee i will be speedy as i will be busy with college and uni but can try.

It's on the site but I'm not sure it works as it is..
Could you possibly have a look and see what you think Ryan? Maybe make the bang! bigger and make the vouchers smaller and move it underneath or something? What do you think?
