You should make the pencil Yellow and Black. Do a bit of advertising for staedtler pencils

It's lookin' good *nods head in appreciation*. For some reason I was thinking it would suite blue, simply because blue is a very common theme for professional sites I suppose

It looks good, maybe try a gradient like suggested and make a shine or stroke? Experiment a bit more and see what you like and if it looks better or not.
