Drastic Help Needed :(

Just wondering if anyone can help me out. Not been working on websites for a few years and graphics, well, even longer.

Anyway, not really asking for anyone to make me anything (if you fancy doing that, that's cool :P), but mostly for pointers.

My site; http://northern-monkey.info is certainly lacking in design. Anyone got any suggestions, tips or drastic thoughts to possibly help me drag in the punters? It's mostly going to be for people I know / they know rather that promoting the link (aside on here
