I have turned on the arcade, I have done some investigation and have identified a couple of cheating members, you know who you are...

When I have finished checking things, expect a fair few games to be removed from the arcade I will try to find some suitable replacements and for all scores to be removed from the arcade.

Anyone caught cheating from now onwards will expect the banhammer (that also goes for previous cheaters I may add)

didn't expect chigley to be one of these arcade ruiners. i know i should judge a book by its cover but chigleys score on chopper challenge is unreal and quite obviously fake. (glitch?)

I think it was more the challange of doing it, rather than trying to be top of the league in his case, though that doesnt seem to be the case for others

Just spotted this, and came to explain myself.

I didn't do it for the high scores. Couldn't care less about the leaderboards or anything like that.

It's in my nature to explore things, see how they work. I was fiddling about, and took it one step too far, to the point where I couldn't undo it. I told Jon immediately, and told him how to protect it from anyone else.

I'm not the type of person that will cheat for the sake of an ego, just a 'script kiddie' moment gone wrong, I guess.

All I can say is I hope this doesn't affect your long-term judgment of me. I'm not a cheat or a fraud, and this is reflected by the actions I took immediately after the incident.

They are when they are beating members who have reached high scores fairly and squarely.

The arcade section should be treated as a bit of fun and not to be taken too serious. I was about to say that I've spent many evenings playing on the arcade when I was bored but then I saw my stats and the last one knocked me for 6.....or 7 if you cheat

I can see where he's coming from I'm like that too....

Loads of kids at school played that Denise Lewis game where you have to smash the 'B' 'N' buttons repeatedly to go quicker... they all loved competing for high score... so I set a macro up to put them to shame. It was just funny to do

The timestamps on the page load requested were around 10/20 seconds apart, meaning there was no time left to play the actual game before the high score was submited, and when someone gets a high score on their first attempt.....
