Still problem with links - but have possible solution

Remember those problems the Eurogiveaways network had a while back, where the link people clicked on would not land them on the correct Eurogiveaways site?

It's just happened to me again, and I have figured out what seems like a simple solution. I know that you can get credit for referring to whatever Eurogiveaways site, but if I'm advertising the PS3, I don't want people landing on the Ipod site.

Basically, for the console site, my ref link is:

http://www.eurogiveaways.com/?p=2&r=XXXXXXX

This link lands at the Ipod site, even though I don't have an Ipod account with the network. However, by having a look at the properties of the link to the console site, you can fix this by changing the 'p' after the question mark to 't'. That way, it should land at the console site, and you won't lose any referals by people clicking from the Ipod site to the Console site and losing your ref number in the process.

Hope this helps.

Re: Still problem with links - but have possible solution

well - why on earth should the 'customers' have to do this? This is the SECOND time this has happened to my account on Eurogiveaways (ipod) and im getting so fed up of it! I have sent in support tickets and just get brushed off with lame excuses. I have given my link to my referals and they have clicked on it and completed the offer as per site requirements - yet I am the one who is still not getting my green for it.

These site owners need to pay more attention to their srcipt writing or whatever maintenance is required in order to give a fair and effective service!
