But you gotta admit those final few minutes of a game when they actually star playing are better than a lot of games!

lol, I just posted a message like that in the comp forum. I still have spain and italy left and they play each other so i'm hoping for italy to get through.

hopefully a germany V italy final (if thats possible) and italy to win to give me the chance of a long overdue competition win.

Yeah extra time was actually entertaining. Pity the rest of the game wasn't and of course the team that played for the penalties goes through.

Still it will be interesting to see if they have enough players un-injured or not suspended to play.

And I hope Italy get thrashed simply because they got through and Scotland didn't.

Turkey weren't bad and credit must be given to them for coming back after conceding. Was also great to see Rustu afterwards, not with his team, but shaking hands with the Croatia team. Good to see people like that. Wanted Croatia to win, but Turkey aren't as bad as people are making out in this thread..
