lol, i dunno me and Arctic have some pretty different views where it comes to football (me being a fan of one of the old firm teams).

Maybe it's only when it comes to our view of English football and England fans :P I think most Scots are united that way!

odds were same for the win on both teams, if you keep eyes peeled you'll get good value from this tournement. inflated odds on the chech's coz they were playing away agaignt the host's but by my thinking home advantage can be very differrent in international tournements, esspecially first game (nerves).

P.S my tip for tonights game - lay the draw then back it when portuagal score first (hopefully)

I don't hate the English team as such, nor the premiership.

It's the fans that piss me off a lot, and the media.

Sorry, i dont understand where you're coming from.

In my experience, every England Fan i've met or spoken to has been exactly the same.

Hope that clarifies things for you.

Actually you're question was
"How many English football fans have you met?"

so don't expect me to answer "Have you ever met a fan at an English international game" from that...

my question was
"how many english fans have you met"
then
"At an england international game? or just people who support england?"
then for some reason you dident understand that and i said
"My question was have you ever met a fan at a english international game?"
so now your beating around the bush. so im going to start a new line of fire.
my question is
have you ever met a*edit*english*edit* fan at a english international game?

Re: The Euro 2008 Preview/Review thread

I don't hate the English and I don't hate English fans (not that I've met that many). In fact sometimes I'm embarrassed by the bias that some people here exibit but if you look at things from a Scottish fans perspective for a sec.

The BBC's commentator can barely make it through a game without mentioning England, yet rarely mentions Scotland, Wales or Ireland. The England games are shown on BBC 1 yet as far as I'm aware the Scotland games (when the bbc could scrape a few million for the rights) were not shown elsewhere in the UK. And it wasn't until more recently that the news would mention when the other home nations were playing.

For a TV network that is supposed to be unbiased there are some areas where it isn't so much.
