Neither have many teams like Spain but I'd hardly call them "rubbish" or living on past glorys. I'm sure if I could be bothered checking the Czech's recent record would be as good or better than England (or are they rubbish too)?

Id say when it comes to the final and there is two top teams in, and it they just sit and play defensively till penalties, thats no more exciting.

Certain champions league final recently springs to mind.

Possibly the fact that one of them isnt England? or am I putting words into peoples mouths?

anyway, back on topic....not a great game but I've seen worse. The Swiss had chances but I think nerves got to them. They might play better in the second game, but probably not good enough to win.

Czech republic will always be a tough nut to crack.

I was supporting england as my second team during the qualifiers.
I wanted italy to win as alot of my family recently moved there and there football is a higher quality.
