![]() | Android Froyo is so much better than iOS 4ANDROID FROYO . has Fastest ever mobile web browser (proof) . supports USB tethering and acts as a portable hotspot . supports Flash 10.1 (which is optimized for mobile phones) . "when you download an app to your computer you don't need to tether your phone. Instead, the update will automatically be installed over-the-air to your device. Same goes with music you buy. Hear that, iPhone users? No syncing required." .Android 2.2 demolishes iOS4 in JavaScript benchmarks (Proof) .makes sure no industry player can restrict or control the innovations of any other. Source code is open! Anyone care to disagree?

| iPod 20gb | Remember that iOS is for iPhones only. There is no HTC that runs iOS. We'll never get a real fair comparison between the two Operating Systems. I don't accept your proof about Android having the fastest browser because Apple will never say 'Safari is not the fastest' and Google will never say 'Our Android is the fastest' just like the old debate between FireFox and the other browsers; FireFox claims it has the 'best browser', Apple says 'The fastest browser on a Mac is Safari'... it's not official and will never be. Maybe the app thing that Apple says over and over; we have "The world’s largest app platform" with over 200.000 apps and the multi-touch exclusivity are good arguments in this debate And here comes my best argument; a survey proved that iPhones owners attract significantly more girls than Android-based phones owners! The survey's conclusion? iOS 4 is better than Android Last but not least, we can't deny that Android has better performances than iOS (including the faster browsing). But the iPhone has been a "revolution" with its multi-touch technology. What revolution did Google come up with? So if you ask me which one is the best ? I'd say Android 2.2 (with a Nexus One And if you ask me which one you'd like to own? I'd say the iPhone with its iOS 4 |

| iPod 20gb | Maybe, but the userface and the "touch screen's feeling" of Android's it is anything but good. iPhone has the BEST TOUCHSCREEN EVER and I love it's menu Anyway that is my opinion |

![]() | Touch screen isn't dependent on the software entirely. It depends on the specs of the screen of the phone. You have to remember Android is not a phone while the iPhone is a phone.

![]() | Wasn't replying to you. I was replying to justme. i was saying how good a phones touch screen is not dependent on Android but the manufacturer of the phone . For example you don't compare the software of a computer to the hardware of another.

| iBook | Totally agree with you Zazizizou ! I just want to add this video which features iOS 3 on iPhone 3GS VS Nexus one for flash you can jailbreak an iPhone to get flash on it (but for what ? ads ? online games?) the iPhone have the best touchscreen ever and now they have added the retina screen... that's fairly better than the android phones I'm an iPhone and Android fan ! but I do prefer iOS because there is more apps |

| iPod 20gb | You can jailbreak the iPhone too. By the way I am not an iPhone or Android user so my opinion is objective. Also I have tried many android phones (HTCs mainly) and the iPhone 4 so I compare them from my experience on them Anyway that's my personal opinion and anyone can have a different one. We have Democracy so anyone has his own opinion Jrjokerz are you an android user by the way? Last edited by justme; 30-08-10 at 04:59 PM.. |

![]() | Just to ask, what triggered the whole thread discussion? Look, each device (and OS) are for different people, some "power users" will pefer Android for its openness, but some will like iOS because they already know it (from e.g. iPod Touch), or because it is simple for a newcomer to use. | hurr durr! | Because Android OS is open-source, it has already been ported to the iPhone. At least the original iPhone and iPhone 3G. So if you have one of those phones, then you can enjoy the best of both worlds! (Can dual-boot!)
