| iPod 30gb | It can be argued Gus Hiddink needed an interperture when manager of South Korea and I believe for Russia aswell...he done very well for both teams. Football is a universal language as long as the instructions are put across one way or another the onus is on the players to carry it out...they play the football not the manager |

![]() | He probably shouldn't be sacked. It's a difficult one to judge. He has made mistakes and needs to learn from them. If he can do this then fine but only time will tell. People weren't calling for his head when the qualifiying group was won at a canter and now a few games later it's all his fault. The problem is, England don't need a manager, they need a magician. I doubt Capello was aware of the extent of England's deficiencies as a footballing force when he took over. However, his approach to solving these problems is wrong. I get the impression he is trying to teach them how to play but at this stage you can't teach an old dog new tricks. His focus should be on creating a gameplan that relates to the qualities England do have and one that hides the (many) limitations. I don't think he has done this and I think a lack of trust in the players is the reason why. The key is that he evolves and he has shown in the past that he can change and isn't as stubborn as made out. Overall, at this stage I think it would be wise to let him continue to see how it pans out, he clearly wants to stay. |
