I want to say, yes people should vote. Voting is your chance of saying something, expressing your views and a chance at changing the state of the government. If I could, I would have voted too (Except I'm 17 and I have to wait 1 more year to vote) - for lib dems.

This I agree with! Aside from being very interesting subjects, making sure kids know about how a government and an economy works ensures that as adults they'll have better knowledge of who to vote for or what to change should they wish to run for...prime minister-ship? How d'you call that anyway? (Really wish it was compulsory to have those subjects in grade school)

Democracy is all about everyone having a choice in how things are run - I wouldn't really consider something a choice if I don't know much about it.

Why is it no longer relevant? elections still take place people can still debate as to why people should/should not vote.

I've never voted as they are all a bunch of overpaid thief's.
