hacking / glitching

So, do you think hacking and glitching in games like MW2 should be dealt with better by M$ and Sony ?

Personaly I think it SHOULD be dealth with better, especially by sony as they just dont give a fcuk... but I do it myself and i was one of the guys that created recent the LB hack (without being removed) on MW2 but they dont even ban your account on PSN!

what do you think about it all ?

(I dont glitch in games, I just do it in private matches etc as most of the ones in MW2 dont really help anyway

so I couldnt use them to my advantage)

Hacking is not cool, you shouldnt do it in the first place lol

I used to enjoy glitching on resistance fall of man, but only games set up for glitching so nothing would be gained from doing it.

The thing that annoyed me when doing it though was that every now and then i'd be kicked from the game by a moderator. If kicked a certain amount of times by a moderator they'd ban you for a week, month etc so you couldn't play the game online.

Game moderators, what a total waste of a wage, it's a game why the hell do they need to moderate them?!

I'm not asking for a tutorial or anything like that, but how exactly do you find or make a hack or a glitch? I mean are you screwing around with software, or are you just finding dodgy bits in the game?

Glitching is just finding parts of the game that haven't been put together properly, like wall joints etc that you can get through to get out of the maps.

Have a look on youtube for rfom glitches, theres some good videos on there.

yeah, to do the prestige hack, leaderboards hack etc. its editing some of (well one of) the save files... in a hex editor

me, and "person 1" had done the LB and not get removed hack then somebody else figured it out and we all promised not to release it, then some other guy figured it out. The other guy pissed of "person 1" so he released the file with the hack... and now the leaderboard is full of fake accounts

its one of my hates. if your gonna play a game then play it properly..

you find create hacks etc then whine like a biatch when someone else uses it.

if you dont want the game spoilt dont be part of the problem, simples.

lol, im not whining like a bitch... just that he lied and said he would keep it to himself and then doesnt thats what annoyed me, at the end of the day its only a leaderboard in a game and tbh its pretty sad...

and the game itself isnt spoilt by this, as the leaderboard is a load of sh*t as it is with all the boosters etc.

Lol have you seen the person who's top now?

Clearly a glitch, says he's played something like 4000 days on MW2 which isn't possible

I think cheating should be addressed a lot better by Sony. Games are no fun when most of the people glitch their way up to rape everyone else. Even when one person cheats it screws everyone else in the game, because no one should have that unfair advantage.
