Should Hacker be Extradited?

Quote:
The Glasgow-born systems administrator, who attended Highgate Wood Secondary School in north London, is accused of hacking into 97 United States military and NASA computers in 2001 and 2002, using the name 'Solo'. Well ok i was gonna wait for others but ill voice my opinion first.

I believe he should not be tried in the US as he was in The UK when he commited the crimes.
Also, in another video his mother talks about another hacker in this country that did worse than him and was tried in this country and was hardly punished.

The US are trying to make an example of him as this is a fairly high profile case. He should be tried in this country.

The people who should really be punnished are the governments hiding technology which would better the world.

No because 1 minute into the video he's clearly not all there and should be sent to hospital not jail and the US don't seem to want to do that.

anti gravity wooohoo cant wait for that shizzle to hit the streets means I can stop trying to lose weight lol.

with regards to him being tried in another country im not sure as non of us have the real information as to what he's really accessed and done.
but if he has been privvy to some delicate information on yank computers you can bet they will do anything it takes to have him removed from the UK.

anti gravity sounds cool and only 7 years....

I dont think he should be tried in the US, but I can see why they want it

I just dont like how governments hide stuff from the general public... thats why it would be great to be head of MI5 or something (but watching spooks makes it all look to dodgey and corrupted so maybe not )

I wish he'd found proper dirt, like proof that the trip to the moon was a fake

Don't think he should be sent to prison at all. Will go into detail later, maybe, if I have time to write a proper post

Sounds like a movie plot.

Hero hacks into the corrupt government's secret database full of hidden files, then is caught while doing it and no one believes his crazy claims. Now we've just got to wait for him to beat all odds and destroy the evil mastermind behind all this.

I personally believe that he should the US should be more worried about how easy it was for the guy to hack into the military and NASA computers and be thankful it wasn't someone who would have caused actual damage. He should be charged in Britain, the US wants to make an example of him which isn't justice, it is them trying to keep face. If he has been hacking for as many years as is being said, without attempting anything malicious or harmful, it is clear that he did not have the intention to do so.

US shouldn't be charging him, they should be employing him to secure their bloody computers!

They had passwords and the ability to change them though. It's like not changing your PIN number from the default that you get with your bank account.
