Really complex question. I think it should be more a question of preventing the Mothers who would end up needing supervised housing from getting pregnant in the first place.

agreed. Its about educating, and preventing unplanned pregnancies, not babysitting those who have children, unless they 1) ask for help or 2) are endangering the child's welfare.

The problem seems to be endemic though. You wonder even if they had the option not to get pregnant they wouldn't. I live in an area where the culture is to have 3 children by the time you're 18 and then get a council house and live off benefit. I feel so sorry for them too, thinking what they could have achieved if they were just given the chance, or motivated in the right way, or taken out of the toxic atmosphere they're raised in. I just don't know the answer though.

the whole reason why i've asked this question:
I work every day of the week, get absolutely no benefits but yet i see people in my neighbourhood who sit on their ass all day and get money for it! Not just a little bit but probably more than I earn !

But you know what? i am too proud to live of the government (= other taxpayers). I personally , and i know lots of you will disagree, am a big pro of forced abortion under 18 or sterilisation for every girl under 18 !

Another uneducated response, the point of this section is to debate, re: make your statement then backup that statement with why you came that decision.

Exclamation

Right, seems like most of you do not get the point.
But no problem i'll explain :

Look around you. Every day you see girls and boys with little children in buggies and every time you think to yourself : "Jeezzz, they ara a bit young to have children" . Now imagine what sort of upbringing these kid-parents must have had. Exactly, that's right, the same one they'll give their children = vicious circle.

I do not disagree that actually some of the young parents are good parents but they are a minority !
Typical British disease , they cannot prevent, well then you'llhave to heal.

To all of you against abortion (of futureless children of underage parents ) : honestly i think you are hypocrits. I bet you sit happily in your warm cosy house watching the news on young people getting killed in overseas wars that you think are not ours thinking : ' glad it is not my underage daughter/son, luckily they got pregnant young enough so they and i can get out of what was once called a normal, decent society by not respecting the people that actually work to pay their/my benefits.

Saying that abortion is murder is just an opinion, there are people that think that any abortion is murder, others that think that abortion past a certain point of pregnancy is murder, and others that think abortion isn't murder (unless they're like 8 months pregnant of course).

In my opinion, I think abortion is always the right plan of action if the mum or baby will have a worse life because of it. Teenage pregnancy often leads to single mums living in council flats, so in those situations, I think it'd be better to have gotten an abortion and had another baby (if they want one) later on in their life, when they're at a more stable time to look after the baby. That way, hopefully, the mother and baby will have a good life, rather then starting the 'vicious circle' again, as the OP said.

You can't just state that abortion is murder, and then treat it as a fact, and criticise others for having a different point of view to you...

No, just take the bairn into a proper care/family that know what they are doing and can afford to give the bairn a nice life and not live off benefits and stitch the "mothers" legs closed!
