I couldn't care less who the other person is lol, is there really anyone else you would choose over your own family lol. A better question would have been would you kill someone else to save your pet? lol

What if it was an important person that could help thousands of people, like end starvation or something?

It would be an incredibly selfish act to save your loved one. But could you make the other choice?

I'm still not sure that would make a difference. I know it would be selfish but I don't think I could do it. If they were both stood in front of me and I had a gun, i'm sorry but I still think it would have to be the other person!

Reminds me off Resident Evil where the dude is just about to get torn to bits by a load of zombies... he goes to blow his brains out with a gun (which I also would have done) but is all out of ammo! lol

What if you don't believe in god?

Even for those who believe in god, I don't understand how that is possible!

Sorry I wasn't having a go or anything, didn't mean for it to come across so harsh!

I would not hesitate to kill anyone (with anything) that tried to harm me or my family. No questions asked.

Okay, Corky what if the person you had to kill was a crying 6 year old girl? Would you find it such an easy decision then?

Great question tho OP!

Edit: thinking about it my answer is no if its a child or a woman (except businesswomen i hate them) and yes if its a fully grown man (except sweet elderly men). the reason for those nos is simple: i wouldnt believe that the person making me do this would let me and my family member go afterward.
