firstly, UFO's exist fact. This is because anything flying and unidentified is one. And the majority who dont believe are either religious, or underestimate the universe on a massive scale. Watch the link...

I would be astounded if in the entire universe we were the only planet with life.

It's funny whenever people say do you believe in aliens, the majority think it's silly etc to believe so when you're younger. But I can't contemplate the idea that we are the only life, that would make no sense

In this solar system, this is the only planet which has the right conditions for water to exist. So in this solar system we are the only life forms

India has recently discovered water on our moon which was confirmed by NASAs LCROSS misson.

Also one of the moons of Saturn (I think it's Saturn) Europa has water under it's thick layers of ice.

Water is by no means an anomaly in the universe which can only be found here.

To go along with TheDoctors video; astrologists have now estimated the number of stars in our Universe to be 70 Sextillion (70,000,000,000,000,000,000,000).

That is quite literally an uncomprehendable figue.

yup. i havent watched the video (youtube has stopped working for me for some reason) but does that also take into account the stars that we cant see due to their distancevfrom us and the speed of light

I think you have to be quite naive to think that out of this little lot, we are on the only teeny tiny planet with life.

if conditions are present, then life exists - fact.
The question is whether conditions exist outside of our tiny, tiny planet, this has yet to be proven but is more a question of when they will be discovered rather than if.

I actually believe that life is rather common in the universe but intelligent life less common, and less still intelligent life that is more advanced than us.

But even if only 0.1% of life is intelligent, i still think that means thousands if not hundreds of thousands of different species.
just look at the diversity on our own planet. ....... If you didn't know better you would think a squid is a pretty alien looking life form..
