![]() ![]() ![]() | Playstation controller issueUpdated my PS3 with the 3.7 update today. Now it seems to keep receiving instructions from the controller to move left or down every few seconds. Just seems to be on the XMB though. Anyone else had this problem after updating? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I had this while playing UC2 online a few weeks back, turned out my left analogue stick was slightly jammed in the down-left direction. Wiggle it about a little and push it down/pull it up at the same time and see if you still have the problem.

![]() | sounds more like an analog issue than the update tbh. i have went thru 4 pads this year due to analog pulling and sticking.

![]() ![]() ![]() | I played Infamous for a few minutes and it didn't seem to be doing it when I quit. It just seems to have started after installing the update which is why I thought they were related. |

| iPod Nano 4GB | Keep wiggling it around or see if it's stuck in that position and see if that will stop it. That's what I did when it happened to me |

![]() ![]() | also try pulling the analogue stick up til it pops out. you can do with both.. they have a lot of play in them and it may need adjusting slightly. just pull on the stick towrds you instead of pushing down on it. pop it out then push back in and try.. ive had ps3 ages and ive never had to replace any pads |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Looks like it was just coincidence the controller had a problem after I restarted after updating When I switched on the PS3 again after Dr Who it was fine. |

![]() | It may have been that when you turned on your PS3 that the stick wasn't centered. When your controller powers up, whatever position the sticks are in is set as the zero point. So if it's not in the center when it comes on, then the real center is going to cause movement. |
